Massage
Massage is the manipulation of the soft tissue of the body for therapeutic effect. Massage has many benefits, including enhanced recovery time, post-ski relaxation and improved performance. It can benefit most people, providing there are no contraindications (or medical reasons not to).
We use many different forms of massage and generally a session is tailored to the areas and requirements of each individual client.
The types of massage we offer are:
Warm up/Pre-ski Massage
To prepare the body for physical exertion. This is designed to make you ready for your day's skiing. Allow tied limbs to be invigorated and get the most out of those tired legs.
Deep Tissue Massage
Focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. Uses slower, firmer strokes and pressure than other treatments - deep pressure is used to concentrate on particular areas of the soft tissue, and is often used medically by physiotherapists. Excellent for those who suffer with stiff muscles and prefer a firmer massage.
Sports Massage
Incorporates a combination of techniques to help prepare for activity, relax and prevent injury. Incorporates a combination of techniques to help prepare for activity and recover from strenuous activity. The elite sports world swears by it.

Aromatherapy Massage
