We accept cash, cards (not American express), cheques and prepaid vouchers.
Our treatments are priced in Euros, however we do accept sterling payments in all of the above. Please ask reception for our current sterling prices. Please note we charge 2.75% on all credit cards. Debit cards have no extra cost.
Cancellation and Non Attendance Policy
If you are unable to attend an appointment booked with Ski Physio or wish to change your appointment we request that you contact the office on 0033 (0) 668570099, or email /call if it is more than 48 hours away. We require a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel your appointment, otherwise the full fee for the appointment will be charged.
How to prepare for your initial Physiotherapy appointment:
Please try to arrive at your correct appointment time to allow the physiotherapist to optimise your session and to avoid delay for subsequent clients.
If you are too late, we may not be able to see you, as this may cause delays for clients who have appointments after you.
To aid your examination you will be asked to remove appropriate clothing to uncover the affected areas to allow an accurate assessment We recommend shorts or suitable underwear.
Please bring a list of any medicines you are taking to the initial appointment.
If we are visiting you at your chalet/hotel, we will bring everything which may be required for assessment and treatment.
Consumption of alcohol prior to treatment may have an adverse effect.
What to expect from your initial physiotherapy appointment:
All physiotherapy interventions will be discussed with you and your verbal consent obtained before any treatment is started. You have the right to decline physiotherapy intervention at any stage.
At the first visit, you will receive a thorough clinical assessment and treatment, which will include asking questions, a physical examination and an individual treatment plan.
What if I have more than one problem?
Depending upon the complexity of the problems you may be asked to prioritise your problems so that we can treat them as effectively as possible.
What happens at the end of your treatment:
If appropriate the physiotherapist may recommend that you rebook for a further session or recommend a short course of treatment. Many physiotherapy treatments can be claimed back via your holidays insurance, the physiotherapist will be happy to discuss this further with you.
However, your physiotherapist may advise you on selfmanagement of your problem If appropriate and will often give some exercises to help with this self management.
How can I contact my physiotherapist?
If you would like to contact your physiotherapist regarding a query with your treatment or more information about your problem please call 0668570099. If the physiotherapist is unavailable, please leave a message with the office staff and your physiotherapist will get back to you as soon as possible.
How to prepare for your massage appointment:
In order for your therapist to be as effective as possible in your appointment, it is essential you are punctual for your appointments. If you are late, we may not be able to see you, as this can cause delays for clients who have appointments after you.
Please dress appropriately in order for the therapist to uncover the area which you would like to be massaged.
What to expect during your massage appointment:
The therapist will find out what type of massage you would like and what areas you would like massaged. The massage will be tailored to your specific requirements and you are able to request deeper or lighter massage at any time throughout the massage. “Firm” to someone can be quite different to “firm” for someone else, so we rely on your feedback to get the correct pressure for you.
- Please make the therapist aware if any of the following apply to you:
- Serious heart conditions or circulatory disorders.
- Recent stroke, haemorrhage or blood clot.
- Skin/scalp infections.
- High temperature or fever.
- Under the influence of drink or drugs.
- Very high or low blood pressure.
- Osteoporosis or osteoarthritis.
- Recent injury, trauma or surgery.
- Cancer (active or in remission).
- History of musculoskeletal problems.
- Nervous system problems.
- Localised swelling, inflammation or varicose veins.
If we are visiting you at your chalet/hotel, we will bring everything which may be required for assessment and treatment. Including bed, towels, massage oil. If you would like anything additional please mention this when booking or feel free to bring this along. We are very experienced at creating space for the massage bed, so no need to feel concerned.
Will I be seen by a male or female therapist?
You may be seen by a male or female therapist. You can request a preference, however, we ask that you discuss this with the reception staff when they are booking your appointment. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
Ski Physio have offers from time to time. We also offer group discounts of 10% off, for bookings of over 3 consecutive hours with one therapist in one location.
Please note only one offer may be used at any one time.
Gift vouchers are available and can be emailed with specific wording to personalise your gift. Payment must be made by card before the voucher is sent, ring 0033 (0) 668570099 if you would like to arrange this.
What do I do If I have a complaint?
